Signed Bilateral Agreement in the matter of codification with Denmark

Director of Directorate of Standardization, Codification and Metrology Colonel Zoran Spasojevic and Director of the National Codification Bureau of Denmark Mr. Thorsten Jensen signed Bilateral Agreement in the matter of codification between two Ministry of Defence. The Agreement was signed at the 103rd Main Group meeting, NATO Codification Committee AC/135, which was held in Luxembourg from 04 – 07th June 2013, and which was attended by 37 countries. So far, Serbia has been signed four Bilateral Agreements in the matter of codification, and two more should be signed, with Italy and with Federal Republic of German.


Report about completed testing of National Codification Bureau of Serbia was accepted at the Main Group meeting NATO Codification Committee AC/135 and technical ability of our Codification Bureau for the Tier-2 status was confirmed too. This created conditions for full participation of Serbia in the NATO codification system as non NATO member.

Testing began in January and completed in May this year and it was performed by National Codification Bureaus of USA, France, Austria, Finland, Belgium and NATO Support Agency NSPA. Up to now no country was not so quickly and easily fulfilled conditions for higher level of Tier – 2, where currently are nine countries including Russia, Brazil, Austria and others. Also at the meeting was chosen new Chairman of NATO Codification Committee AC/135 Colonel Marek Dalkowski, from Polish Codification Bureau.
